Market
Requests a simulated opening using the latest available market quote. The quote may change or fail to load; this is not guaranteed execution at the displayed price.
EVM: market open actionMemePerp brings token discovery, market information and perpetual-style trading tools into one multi-network interface. Choose a market, take a long or short view, and follow positions, orders and P&L in one place.
MemePerp connects a chain-aware market interface to external quote sources, wallet identity and trading controls. The interface brings those pieces together; the current testnet still records trading outcomes in practice accounts.
Search token markets on the selected network. External data providers supply prices and market details; quote availability and eligibility checks determine which markets can be used.
A compatible wallet identifies the account and network. On the EVM testnet paths, a signed message proves account control and a separate message confirms each account-changing action.
Set a side, margin, leverage and order type, then monitor open positions, pending orders and P&L. The testnet engine applies its own margin, fee, trigger and liquidation calculations.
The terminal shows balances, positions and activity for the selected account. Testnet results are simulated and do not prove that a live venue could offer the same fill or price.
MemePerp has network-specific market views for Solana, Robinhood Chain and BNB Smart Chain. Network selection affects the wallet context, market-data lookup and, in the current testnet experience, the account and collateral denomination.
Balances and positions on one EVM network are not shared with the other network. Collateral conversion to a displayed USD value uses a live reference quote and can change.
The main difference is whether a trade is only a practice-account result or an actual order involving real assets. Here is what MemePerp offers now versus what a live mainnet product would require.
| Area | Testnet available now | Mainnet |
|---|---|---|
| Availability | Interactive trading terminal. | Preview and early-access signup only; live trading is not enabled. |
| Balance & settlement | Solana testnet balance or EVM practice credits. Simulated positions cannot be redeemed as real assets. | Real funds and settlement would require a separate, live trading implementation. Do not deposit funds for the testnet. |
| Wallet approval | EVM actions use signed messages to authorize simulator changes, not on-chain order transactions. Solana uses its separate testnet flow. | Any future real-funds flow would require its own wallet, network and transaction disclosures before launch. |
| Prices & outcomes | External market data informs simulated fills, P&L and triggers; they are estimates, not exchange executions. | A live venue would have actual execution, fees and market risks. No live fills are available here today. |
For the current testnet: choose a network and connect a compatible wallet, add test balance where needed, and explore orders and positions. EVM accounts are separate for each network and address; the Solana flow uses different testnet tooling. Read the details below before approving a wallet prompt.
Connecting identifies the account you want to practice with. It does not mean the simulator has custody of your assets. On EVM networks, the interface uses signed messages for sign-in and for confirming actions that change the simulated ledger.
| Prompt | Purpose in the EVM simulator |
|---|---|
| Sign-in message | Proves control of the connected address for a temporary application session. The message explicitly states that no transaction or funds will be transferred. |
| Action confirmation | Confirms the particular simulated action and its details, such as order side, margin, leverage, order type, or position-management request. |
| Blockchain transaction | EVM simulated orders do not require an on-chain transaction. If a wallet presents an unexpected transaction prompt, stop and inspect it rather than assuming it is part of an EVM simulator order. |
Message signing does not move tokens, but always read wallet prompts before approving them. EVM sign-in sessions are temporary; reconnect and sign in again if a session has expired. The Solana testnet uses a separate wallet path and may show testnet-specific prompts.
On Robinhood Chain and BNB Smart Chain, “Add test balance” credits a server-side simulated ledger in ETH or BNB units. The amount is converted using the current collateral quote. No ETH or BNB is deposited, withdrawn, bridged, or transferred by this EVM balance action.
The EVM simulator currently accepts additions worth $1–$1,000 per request, with a maximum of $1,000 in test balance per six-hour window on each selected chain. These are app limits, not wallet funding instructions.
The Solana tab is a separate testnet flow and displays SOL-denominated test balance. Its “Add test balance” action requests test SOL through the Solana testnet path; testnet tokens are not mainnet SOL and have no intended monetary value. Confirm which network your wallet is using before continuing.
Perpetual positions let you practice taking a long or short view with simulated leverage. An order is a request interpreted by the simulator—not an instruction submitted to a real exchange.
Requests a simulated opening using the latest available market quote. The quote may change or fail to load; this is not guaranteed execution at the displayed price.
EVM: market open actionA pending EVM order checks its trigger against fetched market data. A long limit is eligible at or below its trigger; a short limit at or above it.
EVM: long ≤ trigger · short ≥ triggerAvailable for EVM pending orders. A long stop is eligible at or above its trigger; a short stop at or below it. A trigger is not a promise of a fill at that price.
EVM: long ≥ trigger · short ≤ triggerTo leave a limit order pending, its price must be below the current quote for a long or above it for a short. The app rejects a limit that could fill immediately; use Market if you want to open now. Pending EVM orders reserve simulated margin and an estimated opening fee. They may be cancelled while pending; cancellation releases the reserved ledger amount. Orders expire after seven days. Automatic checks run periodically, and an unavailable or ineligible quote will not trigger a simulated fill.
The Solana interface has its own order implementation. Do not assume EVM order rules, limits, or trigger timing apply identically to the Solana path.
A position view can show side, entry and mark prices, margin, leverage, unrealized P&L, and a liquidation estimate. For EVM accounts these are simulator calculations over external quotes and a simulated ledger; they are not a broker statement or on-chain position.
EVM simulated accounts currently allow up to ten open positions and pending orders combined. The app can reject a second position or pending order for the same token until the existing one is closed or cancelled.
| Action | What it does in the EVM simulation | Keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| Reduce | Requests a partial reduction of an open simulated position. | Confirmation is required; the current quote is used for the simulated action. |
| Take profit | Sets an ROI threshold intended to close the simulated position when reached. | Threshold checks depend on fresh market data and periodic processing; no fill price is guaranteed. |
| Stop loss | Sets a negative ROI threshold intended to close the simulated position when reached. | A stop setting cannot cap losses at an exact price in fast markets or during quote gaps. |
| Close | Requests a full simulated close using the latest available live market quote. | It does not send a transaction or guarantee the displayed quote remains current. |
| Cancel order | Cancels an eligible pending simulated order and returns reserved practice balance to the ledger. | Filled, expired, or already-cancelled orders cannot be cancelled as pending. |
On the EVM simulator, TP/SL values are expressed as ROI thresholds. The backend accepts take-profit ROI above zero up to 1,000% and stop-loss ROI below zero down to −100%. These settings are monitoring rules, not guaranteed execution or protection.
Market discovery and quotes are provided by external market-data services, not generated by an order book operated by MemePerp. The EVM market lookup selects a token pair on the chosen chain and applies basic eligibility checks.
Token pair quotes can be missing, stale, inconsistent, or temporarily unavailable. EVM collateral quotes are also external and required for converting ETH or BNB collateral to USD. When a quote cannot be obtained, the app may decline an action, show incomplete values, or skip an automatic check rather than fill using a made-up quote.
Perpetuals and leverage are high risk even when exploring the mechanics in a simulator. Practice outcomes cannot reproduce every market or operational condition.
No. Robinhood Chain and BNB Smart Chain testnet trading actions operate on a simulated account ledger. Wallet message signatures confirm sign-in or the specific requested action; the simulator does not transfer wallet funds for these orders or balance credits.
The signature associates you with the selected account or confirms the details of a simulated action. EVM prompts are signed messages, not order transactions. Review the text in the wallet before signing; reject unexpected prompts.
No. A trigger is evaluated against available quote data. Market movement, price-source delays, eligibility checks, or service availability can affect whether and when the simulator processes it.
No. EVM test balances exist only in the simulated ledger and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, or transferred. Solana test balances are part of the testnet experience, not mainnet assets.
MemePerp’s current trading experience is a testnet simulator designed for stress testing and to help deliver a smooth experience for our users. We anticipate a high inflow of users at launch, so access to liquidity-backed mainnet trading will be released in batches. Sign up for early beta access.
